What Do Men Think About Breast Implants?
Often times women wonder how men feel about women getting breast implants. It’s not uncommon for women to have their partner accompany them during the consultation and be involved for the entire decision-making process. Women undergo breast augmentation for various reasons including restoring the volume and shape that was lost with pregnancy, increase cup size for overall body balance and proportion, and/or even boost self-confidence. Ultimately, having breast augmentation surgery is a decision women need to make for themselves and should not feel pressured by a friend or partner. It is vital for women undergoing this procedure or any procedure to have a good emotional support system for the entire process. For many couples, breast augmentation is a very positive surgical procedure. Following the surgery, most women and their partners discover how confidence plays an important role and becomes an attractive quality. I decided to interview a few men of the women we operated on and let us see what they have to say….
Q) How did you first react when your wife told you she was considering Breast Enhancement surgery?
A) “I was surprised and didn’t realize how much her breasts bothered her and had no idea how long she actually thought about it before she even told me”
A) “I told her she looked great the way she was and that if having surgery made her feel better, I was all for it”
A) “It didn’t come too much of a shock for me as she always seemed to be very self-conscious about the clothes she wore or when we were at the beach. She never talked about it but I knew it bothered her. So when she told me she was considering surgery, I wasn’t all that surprised. I supported her decision whole-heartedly.”
Q) How has this surgery impacted your relationship?
A) “Our relationship is definitely still strong and positive as it always has been.”
A) “We’ve definitely opened up our communication channels in our relationship. She talks more freely about things that bother her instead of keeping things bottled up.”
A) “I definitely see a boost in self-confidence and self-esteem and that is extremely attractive in a woman. She’s more of a sexual being than she has been before.”
Q) Were you involved in the decision-making process?
A) “I was with her every step of the way. I even took off of work to be with her for the first visit and took a week off to be with her during her recovery. The decision was entirely hers as far as size.”
A) “I am an internet-junky so I did all the research for her because I didn’t trust her to do all the background check and research. Choosing the right doctor with credentials was most important to me. After meeting with Dr. Jon Trevisani, I knew he was very skilled at what he did. She was in good hands and that made me feel good.”
A) “I never told her what cup size to go to or how many cc’s, I left that decision up to her. But, I did have a strong influence on which doctor she chose so I was definitely involved with that decision-making.”
